Sky News host Paul Murray says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese “thought he got away” with his lack of answers about what happened to Australian Navy divers after the Chinese warship sonar incident.

“The prime minister thought he had got away with his lack of answers about what happened to Australian Navy clearance divers … the Chinese decided to fire sonar which ended up injuring one of the sailors and they had to come up to the surface,” Mr Murray said.

“All of this happened while Albo was running up photo for ops with President Xi … when they were meeting in the United States just a couple of weeks ago.

“It was revealed after he was flying back … we knew it happened before APEC but the public wasn’t told until after, so the question was, did you raise it with the boss of China?”
